IT Supply Chain Senior Specialist

OVERALL PURPOSE

The IT Supply Chain Senior Specialistis responsible for developing/coding, testing and implementation of the NWC Oracle ERP (SCM) application components.
The IT Supply Chain Senior Specialistadheres to the established software lifecycle methodology and practices, in accordance to project plans while carrying out their responsibilities. This may include maintaining software libraries and technical documentation of the individual components within the Oracle ERP (SCM) application.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Functional Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the NWC Oracle ERP (SCM) application, based on collected requirements and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Support in providing technical inputs (when required) to business stakeholders & business analysts during the requirements gathering phase.
Work on the end-to-end feature development and solve challenges faced in the implementation.
Utilizes source control, continuous integration, and unit testing best practices.
Assist in identifying new or additional hardware/software technologies to fit specialized business needs and configurations of the NWC applications.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for the individual components of the Oracle ERP (SCM) application.
Conduct unit testing to analyze and troubleshoot software defects and issues, providing timely resolutions.
Participate in testing activities with the quality assurance and testing team to resolve software bugs and inconsistencies.
Assist the Oracle ERP (SCM) applicationsupport processes, ensuring timely response and resolution of user-reported issues.
Ensure that the Oracle ERP (SCM) applicationis compliant with the NWC’s Information Security practices and standards.
Create a low-level design of the application in alignment with the HLD prepared by Solution Architects.
Support the production support service requests and perform routine maintenance and support activities, ensuring timely response and resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure effective integration and data exchange between Oracle ERP (SCM) and other NWC applications.
Carry out any other tasks requested by the direct manager or the superior that are within the limits of the job, provided that this task does not make a fundamental difference in the basic tasks of the job.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum Experience:

3-5 years of experience in application development, maintenance and support of Oracle ERP (SCM) or related applications.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
