Description

: |
• I & C engineer shall have more then 10 years hands own experience and have strong Engineering background and must be able to liaise with other functions of the business, Company contractor and OEM’s of Company owned Equipments.
• English verbal and written communication skills. PC skills in MS Word , Excel and other Windows applications
• Shall have good command on technical knowledge and is a specialist in one of the area of planning, design or project engineering. He shall perform engineering studies, works independently under general condition.
• Capable to co-ordinate with other departments and company management to ensure the smooth running of the work/project.
• Shall have management and leadership skill. Full knowledge of all international standards.
• Capable to certifying installation and issuing deficiencies in case of non compliance.
• I & C Engineer shall able to troubleshoot the problems coming from the field instruments.
• Investigate and troubleshoot plant major upsets, trips and recurring and rectify problems and ensure plant availability and reliability.
• Review testing and calibration results of generation plants along with associated control and protection system.
• Conduct vibration testing, troubleshooting activities and perform simple vibration analysis and issue technical reports.
• Shall have good command in technical writing, reports, analyses and specification.
• Capable to override the signals and rectify the problems.
• Capable to understand the all logic and P & ID diagram.
• Maintenance & calibration of all field instruments.
• Shall have very good experience of Communication , LAN , Fiber Optic Cable and F.O. Communication.
• Capable to study problems , evaluate , advise and report about PLCs and DCS systems conditions.
• Maintenance / Overhaul of vendor supplied system.
• Shall be capable to follow the progress of all projects assigned during design and construction phase.
• Shall be able to prepare work scope for up-gradation of the control system, bid documentation, selection of qualified bidders, evaluation of the proposals and recommendation for award for all contracts and material/ equipments suppliers requirements complete assigned project.
• Responsible for project execution of generation projects.
• Capable to take a lead role in various equipment failure investigations at plant.
• Responsible for review plant maintenance activities during testing, trouble shooting, preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant instrumentation and turbine control system and along with associated equipment and provide procedures and standards to improve these activities. |
